One of the most unexpected announcements from the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct was the reveal of The Duskbloods, a brand-new title from FromSoftware, developed exclusively for Nintendo’s next-gen console. The game appears to be an open-world action RPG featuring multiplayer elements and creatures reminiscent of vampires.
The debut trailer showcased various playable classes, resembling the Nightfarers from Elden Ring: Nightreign, along with the ability to summon other players for assistance. As expected from a FromSoftware title, The Duskbloods features intense battles against formidable bosses, promising the signature challenge and depth that fans have come to expect.
While many details remain under wraps, it has been confirmed that The Duskbloods is directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and is set for release next year. More details will be unveiled on April 4 through an upcoming Creator’s Voice interview.
