Hey gamers! Exciting news: the Metal Eden demo is now live! Starting April 8, you can dive into this adrenaline-pumping sci-fi first-person shooter from Reikon Games, the creators of Ruiner. The demo is available for free on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
In this demo, you’ll step into the shoes of ASKA, an advanced HYPER UNIT on a mission to rescue citizens’ cores from MOEBIUS, a once-promising city turned deadly. The demo includes Mission 0 and Mission 1, offering a sneak peek into the game’s core mechanics and storyline.
Mission 0 serves as a tutorial, introducing you to ASKA’s abilities and the game’s mechanics. Mission 1, titled “Paradise Lost,” ramps up the action with more complex combat scenarios and introduces the upgrade system, allowing you to enhance ASKA’s capabilities.
For those with a competitive edge, Reikon Games has partnered with Speedrun.com to launch the Metal Eden Demo Speedrun Challenge. The fastest players can win a share of a $1,000 prize pool.
